Violence Against Women

How we are working to end violence against women

Combatting violence against women and girls is at the core of the work done by Donor Direct Action and our front line partners. Donor Direct Action’s partners work around the world to end violence against women by supporting survivors in seeking justice and rebuilding their lives, by educating women and girls about their rights, and by strengthening advocacy for law reform and implementation. Specific issues that our front line partners work on include: rape and other forms of sexual violence, domestic abuse, preventing child marriage, ending female genital mutilation, and strengthening laws that prevent these forms of violence against women and girls and hold perpetrators accountable.
